A hot spring villa in the heart of a hot spring village in Kanagawa, Japan. Design is dedicated to adapting to the environment with the choices of materials. The facade and interior mainly use wood from this local habitat to sustain the house. Each room is designed to have a certain degree of interaction with the outdoor environment. Wood floors and ceilings will have the essence of wood smell to enhance the feeling of living inside the woods in any season. Opacity is not required for this site because it is located deep into the woods.
